My Wallet Was Stolen

Oct 28, 2014 07:10

Yesterday (27/10 @ 1450) I suffered a rare brain fart/snap/fade and walked out of Wok It Up in Woden leaving my wallet behind.
After realising it was missing I was back at Wok It Up in about 15 mins hoping it was where I left it. It was gone...stolen.

In it was just about every form of ID I own and a few other bits and pieces that I can't replace, and quite a sum of money that belongs to my wife.

I advised the staff of Wok It Up that my wallet had gone missing and they said they would check their CCTV. While they did that I went to Woden Police Station in the forlorn hope that an honest individual may have handed it in. No luck.

The mongrel that stole my wallet has made a couple of fundamental errors.

1) He was observed on CCTV lifting my wallet and removing it from the premises.

2) He paid for his meal (just prior to me) with his bankcard. Therefore it is an easy case for Police to track him down using his bank details.

With these two things in mind, it is inevitable that the Police WILL eventually catch up with this individual. So if you are reading this and are in possession of my wallet, or know where it is.....do yourself a favour and return the wallet to Woden Police Station, before the police find you. Constable Whyte at Woden Police Station and quote 3383551 an he will be quite happy to assist you. No questions, no dramas..just return my wallet. Please..do the right thing.
