I couldn't tell you why for the life of me, but this photo makes my blood boil, my pulse raise...you get the idea. If I can figure out what I'm reacting to I'll post about it later.

I agree, it's not the sexiest pose, but something about it fascinates me. I love it!

The blood boiling... devifemme February 22 2011, 05:58:31 UTC
Thanks! I'm always a bit careful to explain my reaction to the beautiful girls here, not least when I DON'T award the max PW points (a trivial issue, I insist -- and I'd drop the whole rating thing, except readers like it).

Sometimes not being sexy is, frankly, damned sexy.

My dear Justine,

I have finished reading through your latest posts, all of which I continue to love for their sensuality and their added authenticity. It always strikes me that you pick your material with care, and you always have a genuine reflection to post along with them. In short, your blog is a little gem in the blogosphere.

I love this snapshot of Natalie, enjoyed "Yo", and what can I say about "Miss Mason." That cane got my heart beating fast. (And you bet it would do that in real life!)

Have I told you that I have a thing for blondes lately - and my newest celebrity crush (or rather my first - I have never been fond of celebrities until now) is Christina Aguilera, whose greatness I have only recently discovered.

I look forward to more from you - even if I don't update Fleur sometime soon; I'll try to pop in here again soon.

Oh, Fleur, I'm so delighted to be back in touch. (For the rest of you lovely readers, you MUST go partake of her LJ, though you may want to get on her friends-list to enjoy her amazing work fully...)

Thanks for mentioning the work of "my" three latest photographers -- all so exciting. Both Polly and Natalie shoot other delicious women (and participate facing the camera -- "sauce" for both geese and ganders), and I love rediscovering them. And then there's Miss Mason -- *shiver*

As for loving blonds, not least "la Aguilera," I can only applaud your fondness --and agree with you totally. (I'm sorry Cristina got such grief for her Superbowl effort -- she was great!)

Kisses, J

I actually find this pose to be very sensual. The angle of her head, that her eyes are closed, how she is languorously reaching up with one hand and how the other hand is lightly tracing down the up-stretched arm with its delicate fingers just so.

How she is sitting and touching herself, while maybe someone is watching, or no one is watching. She is enjoying herself and knowing her own beauty. That to me is absolute sexiness personified.

The rating is subjective and yours to give. I just found it to be more sexy than you or some of the commenters gave it credit for.

It was nice though that you did listen and adjust your rating, but please, don't ever feel pressured by my comments or opinions. It is your journal and you have every right to express yours.

Thanks, sweetie! But I do love the feedback -- and it did prompt me to look at the shot more deeply.

Revising my rating of Natalie devifemme February 23 2011, 06:00:08 UTC
Dear R2, thanks for your poetic reading of Natalie's portrait. Combined with the other three commenters, your enthusiasm prompted me to rethink the PW rating (presumably you girls' panties told the tale -- and THAT arouses ME as much as Natalie does.) So, are we all happy about "50" for her?

[Please excuse me, R2 especially, for "losing" this post's original position, after your FIRST comment -- I tried to correct a couple of typos, only to complicate the flow here...

Kisses to all,
J
