I'm on FetLife. The black does get to me. I wish we had options to change layouts.

It's the new "social network" (a term I'm heartily sick of) that I discussed here -- "Experience Project"

BTW -- I appreciate your confirming the claustrophobic side of FetLife (and such a hemmed-in sensation is probably a fetish all its own -- tied up and made to look at BLACK all night, heh heh heh!)

I need another social network like I need another belly button. I'll stay here.

Maybe I'll start a petition on FetLife to allow us an option to change the site color, the way a lot of sites offer various themed "skins." The black is making me feel as if I'm locked in a teenaged goth-boy's bedroom.

Usually, the BDSM community is a safe, respectful world. One of my LJ friends pointed out that at a munch she could walk naked and know she was perfectly safe since nothing would happen that was not discussed and agreen by both parties.
Fetlife seems to me to be inhabited by both members of the community and tourists. Particularly many of the male tourists seem to view it as a sixties singles bar a lack respect for basic social conventions.

I quit Fetlife last week - I had only used it twice in about 8 months so seemed pointless to keep.

It is devifemme11 -- same as my email (devifemme11@rocketmail.com) -- plain ol' "devifemme" was taken (possibly by me in an earlier incarnation, with an earlier email -- their log-on refuses to believe THAT address no longer exists).
