Thanks to both of you! It is -- as I never tire of saying -- SO great that you delicious readers confirm my own enthusiasms. Helene is so interesting as a person -- now a mother -- and I truly missed her in the year or so we weren't in touch.

Incidentally, I sympathize with Helene's not getting in touch after her switch. When I got booted off of Flickr last November, I was so frustrated -- but somehow lost track of a fair number of friends there, though I probably could have been more systematic in searching out the missing ones. (And I even had the advantage of this blog, NOT located on Flickr, to reconstruct connections...)

So, again, thanks, kids!
