I never really got into the Superhero shows on TV, a lot of them just come off oddly to me. The pacing and plots seems stretched out just to make things a season long.

But , trust me here -- "Supergirl" may have some trappings of the stupid-superhero crap, but it's really kinda cool. As I mention over on your LJ, the show is sneaky-hip, quietly sophisticated -- and has this cool history. (Calista Flockhart was fantastic in the first season -- I wonder if you can find that season on Netflix or one of the hundreds of cable-channel stations? I'd love you to see a couple of those 2015 episodes.)

And the laid-back friendliness to all of us lesbians! (Bi's, too, girlfriend!)
