Watched the best football game in the season (so far) this afternoon. Perfect football weather: rainy and ugly. Second quarter was the best the You-Know-Whats have played of any I've seen in 3-4 years: they scored 17 points in the first half, and held the Giants to zero.
They had shot their bolt by that point, though they did pull out a field goal in the third -- and continued to hold the Giants scoreless. Until they DIDN'T, giving up two TDs in the 4th.
QB Kirk Cousins was fine today, sacked only once and never intercepted. Giants QB Eli Manning gave up three interceptions in the first half (as many as in his whole season thus far), and was sacked the same number. He had beaten Cousins in all three games they've met; moreover, Cousins threw EIGHT interceptions in those games. Revenge presumably was sweet.
