Thanks, Peaches; your intriguing observations prompt two of my own --
(1) "Kneeling like that..." would be punished. Does that mean a girl would do it to, in effect, beg for punishment?
(2) The photo being "a bit wrong" -- you imply it was simply confected by the photographer for its use as softcore porn. (A thought I'd been exploring in several posts in the past day or two.)

I seem to be in receipt of several versions of your sweet reply -- which is delightful, really. (I'm a demon "re-editor" of my own stuff -- as you've perhaps noticed over the weeks...)

As for the hypothetical bratty girl who "ends up being caned," well, you add further fascinating details about the Ponies' lifestyle. To wit, a spanking is "handed out" casually for minor infractions (or, I suspect, "just because"), but there may be a later punishment for a more serious infraction (brattiness) -- caning.

Of course, a bratty girl (c'est moi!) could set out to be punished, whether a spanking OR a caning.

Your second point, regarding the photo itelf, is what we're been discussing: the extent to which Tumblr photographers "premeditate" their work. (Extreme example being Scott Church, whom I adore -- but whose shooting, obviously, is removed from sexual passion. He is a walking definition of "professional" -- though, goddess knows, some artists sleep with their models.)

That's cute, Jackie -- I haven't seen much of Big Bang, but the Sheldon character is a kick. I don't have much of a read on Amy -- but I take it that she'd like to hook up with Sheldon, though he's pretty obtuse about such things as sex... or is there more or different back-story unknown to me?

Amy and Sheldon have been dating for a few years now. They have a relationship agreement in typical Sheldon manner and she has to negotiate every single aspect of their agreement. She got sick and Sheldon came over to tend to her. She liked it so much since it was the most intimate their relationship had ever been and decided to prolong the attention by pretending to be still ill. Sheldon finally caught on and hence the punishment -- the spanking. More touching and intimacy and Amy goes for it. Sheldon and Amy (Shamy to their friends) have even kissed a time or two, but Sheldon is indeed obtuse when it comes to even kissing, although he does enjoy the feeling, just not to the point that he stops thinking about his fan boy stuff - and comics and SciFi, etc ( ... )
