I would like to second the congratulations. Superb game, and the US team deserved to win. The English team only came third, but at least we beat the Germans ;-)

Oh, you were quite gracious. Incidentally, since you mentioned your wife, I might note that my own sig-other, Joanne, and I are newly pissed at FIFA for the blatant discrimination against women. Not only did they force them to play on artificial turf (the men players would have refused!), but Blatter's bunch gave them only $2 million for winning -- whilst awarding the men's World Cup victors over $30 million last year in Brazil.

Another reason to dismantle FIFA "root and branch" and start over to organize world football properly.
