Now there's an idea worth thinking about -- but the trick would be to do the RIGHT number, Too many people have no sense of proportion with tats! And what IS the right number, anyway? More than a dozen, say -- just repeating to no esthetic purpose. The old "beauty marks" (Marilyn's, say) obviously could only be ONE...
I'm beginning to feel that Lora is one of those people who simply always look good on photos, no matter what the circumstances. I also love the way that the photo looks like a still from a movie, as if she is caught in mid-thought. And there is something gorgeous about those freckles!
I really despise Rupert Murdoch and his empire. A little while back, his British flag-ship tabloid newspaper THE NEWS OF THE WORLD was forced to close when it turned out that his journos had been hacking people's phones in order to get their scoops. It was absolutely in line with the ethos of the paper, which adopted a high moral tone whilst basking in sleaze. He is a bully and a bigot (see the stuff about the recent St Patrick's Day Parade in New York). The censorship of Flickr has more to do with trying to sell it to the greatest number of people than any 'moral' considerations.
I entirely agree about Murdock, both the sellout of Flickr's once-charming character and the way he and his NewsCorp (shades of Brave New World's brutalizing names) bully everyone, far and wide. In some ways, I might be better just to seek other sources of photos with which to enliven my LJ -- but losing Lora and many dozens of other Flickr-ites is hard to contemplate. Arghh, such wretched choices!
