You sweet readers will hopefully forgive me for skipping the brand-spanking-new* Girl of the Day feature yesterday. (Well, it WAS a busy day; I was hopping all over Vero Beach, a goddamned Rotary luncheon AND a board meeting that took up ungodly amounts of time

That's such a sweet, tender photo. Thanks. I saw the girl of the day photo a couple of days ago--very attractive, although I do think that she perhaps needs to eat more regularly. She's positively skinny. If you took her out to dinner you'd want to make sure that it was a three course meal, and that she ate every single course (including the pudding!)

Actually, I DO have that EXACT thought -- not infrequently -- when I'm wandering on Tumblr. Especially the fashion stuff (which I'm now also seeing by the bushel-basketful on the Pinterest blog), but also the many photo comments by 20- and 25-year-olds who admit to nasty eating disorders. A very odd society -- where some don't get enough to eat WHILE some purge much of what they do eat ...
