I've been TRYING to add a title to my naughty post an hour ago -- if only to warn off the shy friends who might find it TMI. But my "loaner" laptop doesn't like afterthoughts -- it's "edit" function flirts with you, then closes your posting before you can type anything

I just read in someone else's LJ that there is a "can't edit or delete an entry" glitch that only happens in Internet Explorer. Were you using Internet Explorer when you were trying to add a title? If so, maybe you can switch to another browser and add a title that way?
