Two of my favorite LJers are Gary and Renata. They just reported back that the URL I cited on my Danica Patrick post the other day -- it WORKS, even for non-Tumblr LJers! Woohoo! I've been soooo frustrated not to be able to amuse you lovely readers with some of my finds over there

"Infra-dig" is not in any way related to 50s American slang. It's upper-class British Latin slang for "infra dignitatem," or "beneath one's dignity," and confers the idea that you are entirely too posh to notice something as plebian as the subject under discussion, darling. It's sort of the exact opposite of the '50s American slang term.

Yeah, curiously enough, I can't get back into that one, EITHER. I found my way into the Tumblr "safismo" blog -- but couldn't locate that particular reblog, so I created a new reblog from "safismo"... another pic altogether, but worth sharing. So-o-o, could you please try this URL (note: I saw the rest of the blog is in Portuguese ["-ismo" could be either language], so I changed my title) -- http://ultradevi.tumblr.com/post/78284878462/justine-again-i-take-it-that-the-portuguese

From playing with it just now (took 15 minutes to skip back and forth, create the new reblog...), I kind of revert to my earlier sense that Tumblr's URLs are a pain in the ass. I'll use them sparingly...

Oh, I'm glad you can see it -- the "safismo" Tumblr is cute, and it's fun to share it. (Nothing like sharing an obscure Portuguese-language PUN!)

Maybe, just MAYBE, I can persuade you to join me in playing on Tumblr. Oh, Anais, you'd love all the eroticism! There evidently ARE occasional jerk-offs there -- as everywhere on the Web. But the liberated libidos (hey -- "liblibs" -- I just invented a cool way to think about the merry eroticists of Tumblr!) are fun to pal around with. In fact, Tumblr is sorta like POLY -- sex without a backward glance! A photo turns you on: so you grab it for your collection, pass it around to your friends, commenting on whatever fantasy is flitting about your fevered brain...

Anyhow, DO please give it a try!
