"just like Karen's here" :) Apparently, this is a Lamborghini Aventador. I haven't seen the new Sting Ray so maybe it is similar.
These cars have been designed in SL by other people much cleverer than I, but I have been mulling over the idea of making cars later on, probably ones that nobody else would have done already. All the new Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Aston Martins are everywhere, but the really iconic cars of the 1950s-80s seem to be absent. I might make a few 1950s car facades to pose in front of for my swimwear billboards and see how it looks. So much to think about. I'd like to design one of my own completely, but I'll never have that much time.
Dearest Karen -- OMG, I managed to find my way back to you, my sweet friend! (Come see my LJ post just now; I'd somehow forgot the details of contacting you -- and this is a new BBerry, without the references on the now-defunct one.)
Anyway, I did see your mention of me on your beautiful Christmas post -- but I couldn't get into my Flickr account to reply! Then I fooled around with an old LJ post regarding you, and step by step reconstructed it all. (I hadn't used my Yahoo address for months -- and that's NOW the way into Flickr, as I discovered.)
Anyway, Happiest of New Year's, sweetie! Again I'm sorry for my thin tech skills, etc.
