There are a couple of things that I really enjoy about Russian and Eastern European erotic photography. First, the girls are all natural. No plastic implants, lip injections, that type of thing. And equally as important, no ink. They are beautiful in all of their shapes and sizes, EXACTLY AS THEY ARE. Without trying to change themselves for some ideal of beauty that is about not accepting themselves for the way that they are.
Soft, natural, beautiful women. That is why I enjoy them. I would take those any day over the ridiculous trend I see in western women and western "erotic" photography with a girl all plumped up with fake tits, fake lips and the absurdly unattractive open mouth look that I have no idea why that is supposed to be attractive.
A natural girl with a smile is perfect, just the way she is. One of my absolute favorites is this girl, Lorena. Her smile is gorgeous.

One "girl-crafting" thing Russians evidently do that I find off-putting (hey, "off-Putin" -- a pun worth playing with!) is the zeal of skinniness. Lorena must have a 20-inch waist. She HAS to wish she could -- just once! -- enjoy a hamburger with all the trimmings!
She looks naturally thin to me. That is the same body type as my friend, Jenny. My friend has blood sugar issues like me and snacks most of the day, we work next to each other. Thing is, we both snack on healthy stuff. She just has a fast metabolism and she is very active. In my imagination Lorena is healthy. She glows. Her skin glows and her hair shines. She looks healthy and happy, cheeseburger or not.
I see girls in western pics with little waists like that and a lot of them have big fake boobs that make them look ridiculous. If Lorena was in the west I am sure someone would have tried to convince her to get fake tits. She looks so at home in her own skin. That is the attraction.
Totally agree with both of you about the photo. One of the lovely things about it is the way she seems absolutely oblivious of the camera. It's a little like the photo of the lady artist, where the total concentration on what she is doing is actually more sexy than if she were pouting at the screen. She's her own person. The low level of light, and the way she is slightly out of focus, gives the whole thing a relaxed, dreamy, post-coital feel. The question about why contemporary Russian photographers are better eroticists is an interesting one, and may have something to do with this. There is something rather emotionless and cold about pornography, whilst erotica is warmer and more human. There is a part of the Russian character which prizes emotion over reason, which is the opposite to a lot of Western thought. Maybe that part of their psyche may make them better at producing erotica, which has a more feminine, intuitive aspect to it. The women in their photographs are more than pieces of meat. Yeah, you are probably right. Lorena certainly looks healthy and trim -- and no ink! Looking again (thanks for prompting me!), her breasts are perfect' her little muff is adorable. Ummm!
