Battering my way onto my old Tumblr

Over on Flickr, I just saw a gorgeous shot of a metallic-blue Lamborghini "Countach" (they were produced back in 1974-1990, and even an average surviving car is now easily worth twice its original price ( Read more... )

Well, sweeties, I was briefly able to "like" some shots related to stuff on my devifemme Tumblr, but more than a tentative move or two, BANG, I get booted out of there -- and find myself on ultradevi! Just posted there as follows

*********************************
And, just like THAT, I got switched out of my old devifemme.tumblr.com and onto my newly established one, ultradevi. Tumblr KNOWS all three of my blogs have ME in common, but their darned password reset just doesn't accept my efforts...

Sorry, NEW followers, if you hadn't suspected already, I'm a tech nincompoop! But I DO love sharing pix I ferret out here (and on Flickr) with you....

Justine, I'm so sorry that you keep having these problems with Tumblr. There's something especially nasty about the way that it lets you think that everything is OK, allows you to do a few things, gets your hopes up, and then locks you out! As to being a tech nincompoop...well, aren't all these computer thingies nowadays supposed to help you? I can recall the old days, when computers were only used by people who knew about stuff like Hexadecimal notation and COBOL. The idea was that all of this stuff was nowadays meant to be available to people who aren't turned on by symbolic logic. Why should you have to try and puzzle out its malignant mysteries?

But as for that car....ooooh, that is a sexy car. It's not the sort of car that you use to drive to the shops. It's the sort of car that you put aside some time for, slide inside, and drive around without any particular destination in mind. That car is, to use the saying of a favourite comedian of mine, sex-on-a-stick.

Yes, indeed! And this person,"Countach fan," celebrates a single model that's been out of production for two decades! There is MY kind of eccentricity! BTW that Countach's metallic blue used to be called "American racing blue" (like BRG for your Sceptred Isle -- and silver for the Germans ( ... )
