I've looked at some of her photos and she has genuine talent. I particularly love how she uses the sun (There is a photo called ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN which I absolutely adore). She can't be short on brains, at least if the Vet schools there are anything like the ones that we have in the UK. The entrance is incredibly competitive, with the faculties starting with a clutch of Grade A students competing for each place. Here's hoping that everything goes right for her.

Holy coincidence, Superfan! You must be using your amazing super-powers to detect ME wanting to introduce you to Gary -- above -- who is a great comics enthusiast (not to say "fan"...).

Just a week ago some of us were writing -- http://devifemme.livejournal.com/1365635.html -- about super-heros and the artists who draw them. Both Gary and my friend Karen spoke fondly of Adam Hughes, who drew Maze Agency and Justice League International in the 90s. Gary added that Hughes "recently did a run as cover artist on Catwoman" (my personal love among the "supers").

Anyway, I really/truly wrote them how I have this lovely LJ friend Superfan, that you and our mutual pal Hawkwitch were "part of a real comic-hero mafia here..." And, sha-ZAM! Here you ARE...
