I'm sorry to say the distractions of the past several weeks has kept me from following up on the wonderful Frenchwoman, Isabelle, whose soft, sincere views really captured me back in early April. The shot from the train window, and the lovely self-portrait reflected in windows of a mountain lodge in southeast France (well, northern Provence, if that conjures up a sexier spot!).
Anyway, I had latched onto this OTHER "selfie," somehow taken of her by her. And with such bubbly joi de vivre! Such a delicious sprite. Oh, and wandering in her collection just now, recalling what I'd had in mind when I first designated this shot a Flickr "fave," I saw what she must have seen as a parallel shot to "me," here. It's called "us," and includes a young boy, maybe 6 or 7 years old -- possibly her son, though I hadn't seen him in other shots of hers. Maybe a nephew? But someone she singles out...
