Agreed on all counts. Loved this episode, loving this season. I'm seeing people not liking the recent episodes and threatening to stop watching. Dunno what THEIR problem is...

I love this season so much. And honestly, the people that "threaten" to stop watching the show should just do it already if it's sooooo unbearable. Like, who are they threatening, anyway?

You mean, they've always BEEN bad. So when they released that teaser set to Johnny Cash in season two, I shit a brick. Like, a trailer that's fucking AWESOME after all the crap? I remember how stupid the Tall Tales teaser was, and the episode is fan favourite. UGH, plz to be hiring better advertising guys, wtf.

loved this ep, the two parts that broke my heart were Sam when he realized the Angels he always believed in were jerks (not Castiel, he is getting better) and the moment where Dean saw Sam used his powers. They both just had their worlds shattered in this ep a little bit.

I still think Castiel and the angels are shady and/or not really who they say they are.

Loved the moooooments in this episode SO MUCH. I think Sam's super dorky fangirl moment meeting Castiel was adorable, which only made it more sad to see him lose faith. "They're... different than I imagined them." SAMMY, NO, DON'T BE SAD. ♥

How freaking adorable was Sam when he realized who Castiel was? He was so excited and just blown away that it was cute. I was so, so worried that Castiel was not going to shake his hand. I really was. My heart was breaking for Sam right up until he did take his hand. Then it broke even more when Sam and Dean were talking in the Impala and he was all that's who I pray to? UGHHH, that was probably THE BEST THING EVER! As I drove myself to my friend's house after I posted this, I was like, man, I totally forgot to talk about HOW ADORABLY DORKY SAM WAS WHEN HE MET CASTIEL. I was worried Castiel wasn't going to shake his hand either, but I think he was also scared to, because the first thing Dean told Sam was that the angels disapprove of him using his powers. Sam's awe of Castiel and Uriel was so freaking adoraaable, and his little voice and FACE when he said, "they're... different from what I imagined them to be." SAM ( ... )

I just felt like the Dean I loved in S1 and the second half of S2 was back, and not SHOUTY OVERTHETOP EXAGGERATED SAMMYHATIN' ANGRY DEEN we've been getting this season (and not emo!Dean of the first half of S2, LOLOL let's not talk about that).

Oh man, I love Asylum. I screamed in terror while watching that episode. It's my scariest non-gory episode.
also I slept with the lights on after Asylum

I like Uriel too. He's a BAMF.
But yeah, Sammy was adorkable. He was... yeah, he was a fangirl finally meeting her hero.

I'm generally a rally easy to please fan. Just give me boys and I'm cool. But I remember watching The Magnificent Seven and I remember feeling pretty annoyed with Dean. I mean, not only was he the worst kind of emo kid ever (I'm gonna die, too bad, I guess!), but his humour was SO over-the-top and exaggerated that it felt false. And since then, I think Dean's been back, for the most part, but there are still times I can't help but remember Magnificent Seven and the "a little help here?" and shit.

URIEL REALLY IS A BAMF AND I WANT HIM AROUND ALL THE TIME. I want him to give the boys a hard time. I love things that make their jobs difficult, lmao. One reason I didn't hate Bela like so many did. LOLOLOL, such a fangirl, he was all, OH WHATEVS, UR NOT THE ANGELS *I* PRAY TO. D; D; D;
