Wow, that post brings back some memories. I've visited the USA a few times, and I always stayed with my boyfriend, but I always travelled alone.

I was so naive, and I didn't consider just how different the USA would be. It was all kinds of interesting and wonderful, and since we broke up I know going back just wouldn't be the same, but there are so many small things that remind me and take me back.

Good times. :)

yeah.. you know i feel like i have to go back to Pittsburgh at some point soon. Just been mulling it over during food the past 30 minutes and I htink it might be possible, if i'm very brave, to take a trip and see friends in Portland, Maine and stop into pittsburgh on the way.
but that would be scary. cos i've never flown by myself before. eeek!!!

Oh, you should!

I've only ever flown alone, so I've only ever known the freedom to explore the airport and see whatever I want to see. I'm not sure if it would be so much fun with company... I guess it just has to be the right company. :)

But you really should go if you can! Make it happen!
