Held off on eating and concentrated on something really hard for hours and you don't feel tired or hungry. But when you DO EAT you virtually fall asleep 5 minutes afterwards?

Yep, from 5am to 6pm I had a couple of glasses of milk, and was perfectly fine, despite the day being... quite intense.

I cooked some scrambled eggs and waffles at 6 because I figured I should eat something, and then boom, I napped for a couple of hours, couldn't help it.

And I know how badly it sucks when you think you've done everything right, and someone pulls you up and criticises you on a silly little thing that you couldn't really control. Don't let your demons haunt you over it and things like it. *hug*

thanks hon.
its just my head y'know?
I have admittedly, zero self-esteem when it comes to my professionalism. Weird huh?
But a little part of me tells me that I have no business being in an operating theatre unless I'm cleaning it.
*shrugs*

Honey, you help save lives. You work under intense pressure, and I bet barely a day goes by where you're not involved in an event that shapes the future of somone's life.

On top of that, you do a *good* job. You're skilled, and you're dedicated.

If someone wants to nit-pick over tiny details (that pale in comparison to your achievements) then send them my way and I'll educate them.

In the meantime, stay shiny.
