i'm doing better in work these days, but the pain is still bad after 5-6 hours and i often have to sit down every chance i get during even the most rudimentary of cases ( Read more... )

but i took my cameras to my father's retirement dinner today, and standing there in my coldplay-esque jacket with the CCCP pin in the lapel, with criss-crossed camera bags around my torso i did feel fantastic. not femmy by any extent, but as a street trader said outside Central Park last year "You artist! You artist!"

sheesh. this makes me smile :)

The microwave generation thing is a good point. You're doing pretty well hun. You've faced a lot of big challenges and beat 'em and are plugging away at getting to where you want to be. I hope things continue to get better and that your pain continues to decrease. Take care of yourself. And if you get the chance to come back to NYC, look me up in Philly.
