I don't think you're over-reacting at all. I think they're skating pretty close to breaking the law, even if they haven't already.

Sweetheart, this is all bullshit. For a start, working longer shifts than you are ready to is just wrong. You need to speak to Occ Health on Monday and get some written confirmation of your graduated return to work. Maybe possibly arrange a meeting with you, Occ Health & Line manager, or get Occ Health to write to Line Manager to clarigy situation. A graduated return to work should be just that, overdoing that to allegedly put you in 'good stead' is a pile of shit.

Secondly, your medical history should be entirely confidential and shared on a needs to know basis WITH YOUR PERMISSION. This is as out of order as it gets; I think you need to ring the union tomorrow and get some back up for both these incidents and consider the possibility of making complaints. This is all wrong, wrong, wrong and I am deeply sorry both these things have happened to you. Be strong and big hugs xxx

thanks Em,
did i tell you that due to Februrary being LGBT month the Trust sent out an online questionnaire asking people what their opinion was of the Trust in terms of its management of LGBT issues.
well, i told them, in no uncertain terms that they had NO management of LGBT issues and a lot of the times the place where i work was as homo and transphobic as it possibly could be.
not a lot's changed then, even from the managerial level.

I'm working tomorrow, 12-5pm, but i'm marching into Poland on this issue.
and if the manager says she can't/won't change the details I'll take it higher.
Next stop: Head of Theatres.
sometimes i really HATE it here Em.
i have been thinking that if Bronglais would take me i'd move to aber for a bit
has Bronglais even got an Op theatre?
