Austin only? How odd. Sounds like the problem is Austin PD more than BATFE.

Our current police chief, Art Acevedo, is from LAPD and is pushing for a lot more control over people. He pushed for an law enforcement intelligence fusion center, mandatory blood draws if you decline a breath test, no refusal weekends, and now this. Since he is the man in charge of APD, and this is new, it's obviously his baby and another proof of his dickishness.
