Well... We made that bet, you know, and then I tried to take her to Edo, but we ended up in London, I dunno, something off with the triple-sync quantum radiation assembly, so, yes, while I was making repairs, I gave Astrid the go-ahead to step out and see London, it's not Edo, but, still, it's not Sto, is it, it's a bit...exotic, London, I s'pose, better than nothing, and then the TARDIS started up and she wasn't in it, and I was, and it was these...the Menagarists, have you heard of them? 7000th century, big shots, too much money and too little heart, collect rare lifeforms. And last of the Time Lords, fairly rare, really. Temporal genetic lock. Pulled me and the TARDIS across time, ended up on this...zoo planet, a prison. Ridiculous security, nothing to it, I had the run of the place in minutes, but it took months to get everyone else out. I mean, I couldn't leave them, could I? There were humans. Real live human beings. In the year 700,000!
