New Devil May Cry
Interesting. Jules just pointed that there's a new Devil May Cry Trailer. I'm not sure if I like it, I need sometime to adjust. hero is definitely not Dante - there are no similarities between them at all. The fighting style, attitude and voice is the same - unless he turns later... Its weird. In conclusion, I'm not too thrilled about the dark

*laugh* Those are totally similarities right there!
If you look at the stills on that page in full size, you can sort of see that maybe he *is* kind of Dante-ish after all. The one right before he jumps off the roof - look at his glare! And the one with the gargoyle and moon...
I'm torn, actually. I've watched the trailer like 3 times and the more I look at it, the less I think it's out of line with the "imagery" of DMC... and I think I could actually see it working. But having said that, it's true that it doesn't feel right to see Dante looking like that, and I don't really like when they 'reboot' things and that's exactly what this looks like. He might have the arrogance down, but he doesn't look like the cheesy-guy type. It seems like I might be messing with the series mythology too much to change him like that.
Then again, I never got past the beginning of #3....
