it seems these days i waste too much time. I have all sorts of video ideas but i never really follow through. Now I have music stuff to work on but i get too distracted to do anything. I was thinking that if i had a full time job again i would feel better. I almost went back to work at Westlake Center fixing things again. I don't think that would

Nobody "knows" how to be happy, They just know what they like and what works for them. e.g. artistic things seem to make you happy but only if you are constantly and fastidiously "living" them. I think you should take the job so that you might find what it is about art that gives you peace. If you want to be creative/or around creativity all the time you need to accept your limitations and work with what you can untill your limitations themselves become limited...you negrophobe.

I now realize I didnt say: how to do what will make them happy. This mistake ruins my entire attempt at trying to give you advice. oh well, fuck-it.

I'm having the same problem, and let me tell you, just any full-time job will not make you feel better! If you can survive on freelance or part-time work, do it. The more time you have, the more options you have. I can't speak for everyone, but for me, a full-time job just further distracts me from my dreams, my friends, and life in general.

sadly, and i mean -sadly- i can't come down this weekend as planned. a couple really crappy things came up, ask erin about one of them...the other crappy things are not really livejournal material. it sucks, sorry, i'll try and plan for another time sooooooon. i really wanted to come down, but crazy stuff tends to happen... :( you should email me your address so i can send you your christmas present.
