I thought his benediction was great. There's another woman on my friend's list who is pissed off about it. I want to laugh at her.

I'm sure it was too familiar at the end. Some Episcopalians just can't handle humor.

Oh dear, apparently he criticized white people too much!

From Wikipedia:

His poem drew sharp and immediate criticism from many political conservatives for the phrase included in the poem "...when white will do what is right."

I love Lowery's prayer. I thought Warren's was pompous and overstuffed, sort of like he is. I loved Aretha's hat. That was a magnificent hat.
I knew Roberts had changed the lines. I bet that sob did it on purpose. First conspiracy of the new presidency.
I cried. I am filled with hope. What an incredible inaugural speech.
Amen!

I thought Warren was pretty bad too and I was kind-of rooting for him given all the crap Obama engendered by picking him. But he can only be who he is, I guess.

Oh my god, I had no idea! It really is an old-school church hat! And she is so rocking it. Perhaps this is what caused Peggy Noonan to say, during her commentary on MSNBC, that "hats are back." ROFL.
