Sometimes I think I got my angst from my years of watching TVB/ATV series. I accidentally caught Dicky Cheung and Nic Tse's version of Xiao Yu Er Yu Hua Wu Que (oh, stupid stupid English title) on tv a couple of days back and at the scene where Xiao Yu Er just couldn't let go and bury Xiu Xin Nui (wow, I am butchering my Mandarin-Cantonese ( Read more... )

I don't watch Chinese TV shows, but my mom watched Taste of Love or some weird family TV show until 4am in the morning when we were in KL.

Lolz.

Ah. A Taste of Love is...well, love. ♥

Such a simple, endearing, tooth-achingly sweet storyline.

...God. I think I got my schmoop from 'em, too. *facepalm*

Oh, man. Just as I've warned about me rambling about Jensen's face muscles, I'd have to warn about me waxing poetic about Dicky's ability to make me feel with him. 'Cause, damn.

I've always thought as fantastic as an actor that he is, he's better off acting in series rather than movies. It's his niche, I think. And he's really good at it: the long(er) storyline, the buildup and such 'cause he's a master at telling us stories about his characters, no? Just like Jensen. *happy sigh*

Oh, God. I think JttW was the first ever tv series that made me cry. That time he was cast away and those tears. Man. Don't even get me started on the scene with Ruby in Duke of Mount Deer at the end. If Jensen has his lip trembles, Dicky has that oh-it-aches lip bitings, yeah? And they both rock the one-tear-rolling gig. ♥

Hi! It seems like we've quite a number of interests in common. Wanna friend? *g*

YES. I so admire him for getting back at TVB. Those stupid fuckers. And it was so generous of him to come back (sorta) for JttW 3. Although that one sucked a little bit. Maybe 'cause the first one was rather phenomenal. Heh. And Ng Hong wasn't so lovey dovey, which kinda peeved me about the third. Bleh.

Oh. FYI, I'm better at Cantonese than Mandarin anyways. :)

I remembered reading about how Dicky was making a whole lot more than Andy Lau doing dramas in Taiwan and I whooped with joy! Take that, TVB execs! :D

Also? Rambling in this journal is totally allowed.

And, HI! You can call me Dev. ♥

oh wow, 24|8 <3. At your service *bows*

It's always wtf with titles. I always so love when they have no clue and just do a literal traslation. I remember there was one title that mixed up a masculine subject with a feminine article when they tried to use a french title.

I say Bobby Au-Yueng is up there in crying males. Not as good as Dicky but up there.

Well, basically I need help with that stupid glaring embarassing mistake in the plot. Gosh, feel like killing myself just thinking about it. Anyhoo, do you have Y!M or MSN or maybe an email I could contact you through? Just to make it easier and all. ;)

Seriously, I've never come across a TVB title that is acceptable by my taste. Bleh. Everything's either too literal or totally off the mark. o_0

Bobby's...fine. I just can't look at him and feel angsty. He's either funny to me or sometimes, uh, annoying. :P

What? JttW was aired here when I was 12. Supreme Master @ Xiao Yu Er Hua Wu Que (the Jimmy Lin/Alec Su version, at least) was when I was in Form 2 or 3 'cause I remember my friends going ballistic over Alec after My Cousin.

What's so scary?

Heh, I was kidding. I meant scary as in how can you still remember all this? *g*

OH. MY. GOD. Run. Don't walk. RUN and go download that thing NOW. Yeah, it's cracky but it's also mighty awesome. I watched the DVD with my friend at school and we had tummy ache for two days from laughing so hard.

Plus, Tomoya Nagase? The Sex.
