I still remember when this happened. I was nine years old and I was in Bolivia. I saw it in the news. I was too small to really understand the significance of it, but I remember being happy. The happiness of the people radiated through the screen and you couldn't help but to take part on their joy.

I've been watching the celebrations and wishing I was in Berlin. I'll never forget that day, I'm sure. And the weekend afterwards I was on a flight to Hamburg to meet my cousins for the first time ever...

I remember it very well when I watched the news on TV and enjoyed it so much! It made me so happy! It was like a dream. My father was a little afraid; he said that a unificated Germany would become very strong again and that maybe it'd get dangerous...I'm glad he was absolutely wrong.
