I am studying abroad this summer. Here's how my plan looks.

June 27 Arrive in Berlin

June 27-30
Wait for my USAC group.

June 30th-July 3rd
Berlin Tour

July 3rd-August 10
Living in Lüneburg

August 10
Take Eurail from Hamburg to Frankfurt (or stay in Hamburg)

August 10-12
Frankfurt or Hamburg

August 12

I know this thread is fairly old (I was travelling so I am trying to catch up on my LJ!) but I just wanted to let you know that I only travel alone - and it is great in Europe if you are staying at youth hostels! Every day that I was travelling I would decide where I wanted to go that day, and I was ALWAYS able to find a group at the hostel who were going to the same place! I met quite a lot of interesting people that way, had company, but didn't have the issues that come along with travelling in groups (getting sick of the same people/same stories, not being able to see sites that you really want to see, etc...) So go have a lot of fun and share your stories with us here on LJ!
