It's an electoral projection webpage. The folks who run it throw a huuuuuuge amount of math at not just the presidential election but the congressional one too.

A lot of their charts require you to read the FAQ for an explanation. Bloody fascinating

I love fivethirtyeight.com. It is also Chicago-based, and the product of a fellow UofC alum, so I have to be proud of it...
