No matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t get over it.

He told himself, and everyone else around him, that he was fine; nothing was wrong. It was starting to get pathetic how much he tried to convince himself and others, but he never stopped and neither did the one doing this to him.

Sandeul tried to ignore the pang in his heart whenever he saw Shinwoo with another person. As awkward as the elder seemed, when he was off camera, it was different story. There was more skinship and his smile seemed much more genuine. The uncouth laughs he uses on variety shows disappeared and the authentic Shin Dongwoo laugh came out.

Junghwan had his feet propped onto the chair with is knees hugged to his chest as he surfed the web and tried to ignore the cuddle session between ShinChan on the couch next to the desktop computer they all shared, besides Jinyoung who needed his own laptop for ‘composing’. Chansik’s small, bubbly giggles pierced through his ears like they were high-pitched screams. With a couple clicks, the computer was shut off and Junghwan stalked into the room shared by the four boys with a loud slam of the door. He didn’t even bother to turn on the lights before he shoved himself underneath the covers of his bed and murmured to no one in particular about how lucky Jinyoung hyung was to share a room with only manager hyung and not three other brats who ruin his life.

A small chuckle he didn’t expect was heard upon his closing complaint of his monologue, “Do you hate sharing a room with us that much?”Sandeul sighed when the low, baritone voice teased him about his rant that the other wasn’t even supposed to hear. “As a matter of fact, yes. I hate everything about sharing this room and the one thing I cannot stand is how people get to listen to my private thoughts that I happen to share out loud,” he stated with confidence. There was a rustle of blankets and Junghwan knew that the younger was coming down to hold him to sleep, just as he always did whenever he started getting sassy. “Junghwan-ah, you’re such a cheeky little duck, aren’t you?” Sunwoo muttered as his arms wrapped around his best friend. Another sigh slipped past the said duck’s lips when he felt the warm, firm embrace of Sunwoo. His head nuzzled against the other’s toned chest and he felt familiar lips press against his hair. “So, that means either Jinyoung hyung or Channie’s getting lucky with Dongwoo hyung,” he said. It wasn’t a question. It was more of a statement, stating that he knew why the main vocal was being like this. Sunwoo felt a slight movement against his chest and chuckled lowly as the small nod tickled him. “You know, Deul-ah, I think Dongwoo hyung is quite blind and cruel to treat you like this,” he swallowed before continuing; what he was going to say could ruin many things for himself, but he was tired and restless after the countless times the two shared these kinds of nights, “If I were him, I’d give you every bit of my attention and never eventhink of anyone else. I’d make you my only one and treat you exactly how you deserve to be. You would be the only one I’d ever look at or love,” he finished with his voice in a soft whisper to prevent it from shaking.

Before Baro was able to finish, Junghwan’s mind was already have asleep and by the time the younger was silent, his snores were loud and his mouth was hanging open. Sunwoo laughed and tucked them both into the bed, holding the smaller in his arms and kissing his hair every once in a while when the snoring paused, only to have them continue again.

One day Junghwan would know of Sunwoo’s heart. One day it’ll be returned and he’ll stop hurting over a man unworthy of the beautiful creation in his arms.
