I know some of you have no idea what habeas corpus is. Olbermann sums it up nicely below, but I'll put it up here in bold text.

This is some of the scariest legislation that has come from this Congress. I also think that the President is trying desperately to get all of this shoved through before the Democrats take back Congress in November.

And when they do, I hope to hell they have the cojones to start impeachment proceedings. But I doubt they will, because they don't want to ruin their chances of grabbing the White House in 2008.
