I was skimming UniWatch today and was directed to the Yankees' retired numbers page of their official website. Scroll down to Yogi Berra's entry. Notice anything out of sorts?

Wow, that's pretty embarrassing. Still, I think the folks at mlb.com are the ones responsible, and not the Yankees organization. Maybe there's a Met in sheep's clothing who's pulling these shenanigans.

back when he was a yankee, they didn't take pictures. i believe he retired in 1847.

Incidentally, I have assurances from my good friend over at mlb.com that the problem is being addressed. He said, and I quote, "Hank Steinbrenner is PISSED!
