Lani had been working since early morning, and working hard at that. Her cell phone kept ringing with calls from her various family to wish her a happy birthday and she let them all go to voicemail. Fin looked up from his DD-5s, hearing an awful noise coming from Lani's desk.

"What the hell?"

Lani took a deep breath and wondered if she could run before anyone really noticed her or the balloon. She was still frozen though.

"N-nothing," she stuttered, quickly trying to hide the big balloon behind her back.
