I have reviewed that article, myself... but, it seems to be of little use. In all likelihood, the man referred to in it, Taro Yamado, was afflicted in the same way as Bishop-san. If there were something pointing to an original owner...

...no. A different sort of Shadow. It would be easiest to think of them as monsters spawned from human minds, though I understand if that is difficult to believe.
If you have contradictory evidence, I would be eager to see it. As it is, my theories regarding these incidents are still being developed, and still possess the potential for revision or replacement.
