Knock, knock, knock.Alex stood outside Bobby's front door, holding onto Ellie and helping her to knock as well. Well, if Alex couldn't grab the man's attention, maybe the little one could. She always seemed to do that with anything she did

Alex smirked at his statement. "Of course," she chuckled.

Ellie giggled at that, and pointed towards Alex. "Yeah, come to me." Alex held out her hand just outside of Ellie's reach. Ellie squealed and plunged forward, meaning Alex had to catch her more than anything else.

Lifting her up, Alex turned her around and faced her toward Bobby. She waited until he was holding out his arms before letting Ellie go...

"Sure," Alex replied. "I have a couple of hours, actually." With that, she let go of Ellie.

Ellie quickly stepped forward to grab onto Bobby's shoulders. That meant she actually took two steps. Alex gave her a round of applause, which Ellie loved and she laughed.

Alex laughed at that. Ellie let out a little giggle and patted his face, babbling at him.

"Yeah? Your social calendar is free for today?" Alex teased, using his words from earlier. She also stood up, making sure she still had her bag of Ellie's things.

Although, Alex is the kind of mother who doesn't like to make others do the carrying, or any of the jobs that aren't so pretty, etc. She allows Bobby to carry Ellie to the park, simply because she knows he loves her. Normally, she'd be quick to apologise for making anyone do the hard work, but Alex doesn't see the point here.

So. With a smirk, she walked ahead of them and opened his front door.

Ellie pointed to the door and shrieked with excitement.

"You're a man of books," Alex laughed.

Alex chuckled. She adjusted the strap of the bag on her shoulder and then lead the way out towards the street.

Ellie pointed up to the sky and then at Bobby's face. "Boo-boo," she told him.

Alex smiled. "No, yo-yo means hello. But it's aimed at you when she said it." She looked over at Ellie, "Bob-by?"

Ellie gave them a throaty laugh and simply said, "Bah-bee."

Alex smiled, considering how close that one had actually sounded.

"I think she does see you as special," Alex laughed, "she just gets the word 'yo' from her father."

"Baaaah-beeee," she squealed, laughing from being tickled. Trying to tickle him in return.

Alex looked over the playground and nodded before looking to cross the street safely.
