Casey walked back into the office after a quick lunch and tossed her purse onto her desk. Taking a seat in her chair, she turned around to her computer. Seeing that she had an e-mail she opened it and read it. With a smile she hit the response button.

Sorry to hear about the hangover! I take full responsibilty for that. Don't worry, I've gone out a lot this week to. I feel like it's the calm before the storm, when we get hammered (no pun intended) with work and can't go out for awhile.
How were things with Alex? You two looked pretty cozy last night. All I've heard about the guy are good things, so I wish you luck.
Oh Eric... That's all I have to say about that.
I'm up for dinner instead of drinking. Let me know the next night you have off.

Things with Alex...I'm not sure yet. He was very sweet, very kind, and we had a good time together. I get a very good guy vibe from him. However, I'm not sure I know what I want out of him yet. This morning he asked me to have dinner with him soon, but I told him I'd get back to him. I think he was a bit hurt.
No, no, come now. I want to hear more about Eric. That man is beautiful and had eyes just for you the moment he came over. Yes, we will catch dinner soon. There are obviously a few things that need to be discussed.

Eric is amazing. Sometimes I feel like he's too amazing, and there's got to be a catch. I guess I've been with SVU too long. :laughs: Being with him is very comfortable, considering how far we go back. I guess I just feel torn. It's been a long time since I've been involved with a guy. We'll talk over dinner.
Are you busy tomorrow night? I know a good sushi place in the Financial District.
