I have been rather isolationist lately, for pretty much the same old reasons. Accomplishments in the last week: 0. Well, I have managed to go to work, keep up with my room, laundry, cooking, etc... and worked out, but really, there is more to life than the routine ( Read more... )

Hey, it's my turn to comment on your journal! Rest assured, the novelty stops there and I continue to have yet another law and order-fact or fiction question. There was a shooting on the court steps of Law and Order, SVU tonight. I imagine that actually happens very infrequently. Can I get a "what,what"?

I don't think bunnies are meant to be caught.

Well, there was this one caper about 3 years ago where a guy took a hostage on the steps of the Mexican consulate and held a gun to her head. The officer took one shot and blew the guy away. Turns out he had a fake gun. Good job.

...the courts I go to most frequently actually don't have steps, so there can't be a shooting there. It isn't as elegant as it is on TV. Those are federal courts usually, I think.
