well it's over, for the most part anyways. today i swam my last high school swim meet ever (potentially last meet ever). it actually ended pretty well. i swam a best time in the 100 fly, which has been the event i have been working on since sophomore year. i was glad to get a best time because 3 weeks ago i swam 3 seconds slower, so to drop that ( Read more... )

yeah its so weird that tennis for me (and swimming for you) is going to end... it was SUCH a big part of my high school experience - its weird - i wont be going to practice everyday, playing tournaments, beign with the tennis team. glad im going on, but im gonna miss it all the same...so many memories formed from tennis.

tennis isn't over yet...its actually more like beginning for me. there is plenty of time left to make even more great memories! it is really weird though, but when we all get back together we can remember these times and it will be great!

When people say "end it with a bang", I always think of someone shooting themselves - like being suicidal. Or maybe shooting someone else.

just like when people say that they are so happy that they could kill someone...wait...no one ever says that. 'bang' represents fireworks, the grand finale, the icing on the cake, the light at the end of a non-dark tunnel, and many other euphemisms that i cannot quite recall-jd
