wow lisa you have such a good heart. even though it is through trials that we learn to grow the strongest through God i also believe that everyone has been through things that has made them stronger in faith even if it means something small. for me i think that i have had it better than so many people around the world. i have seen what poor is and i have also seen people who have never heard the good news and it breaks my heart. even though i complain to myself mostly about why i was not given a certain gift, I am so blessed. i often get angry at God because i feel like things are unfair for me but then i realize all the things that i complain about to myself is selfish. there are so many people around the world that will never ever get the chance that you and i do to be living in such a secure lifestyle. like i may not be the smartest kid in the school but at least i am going to be okay in life and God will bless my heart and show my gift through something else. i think also that i see Gods blessings through my friends and family ( ... )

when things get tough and we don't know what is going to happen, i think all that's left to do is trust God. He has a plan and its perfect, and it will bring Him glory, so we don't need to worry. thanks for sharing all that sitara! i really liked it.

it amazes me how much God has been teaching me how much I need him. EVERY day that I feel bad, down, and out of God's will was because I hadn't done my quiet time the night before, without fail. Even though at times im sure God has had his anger burn against me, as I've had my anger burn against me, He would still reach out and pull me up. He's taught me that His grace is more than sufficient, and more than one thing that I need in my life, but THE one thing that I need in my life.

it really is amazing grace! and the quiet time thing - i know how that goes. it really does make a difference. there is nothing more benficial than taking time to stop and just spending time with God in prayer and in the Word. His grace is all we need!

how do you know God forgives you?

well, Jesus came to earth and lived a perfect life so He could be the perfect sacrifice. because of that, all i have to do i ask for forgiveness and God will. its not about anything i do, but what Jesus did on the cross. its about faith and believing what the Bible says is true. 1 john 1:9 says "if we confess our sins He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." i don't deserve to be forgiven, but God loves us all so much and just wants to be with us. but He is perfect and holy so there had to be a way to forgive our sins, and that was through Christ. all i have to do is believe and ask to be forgiven. that is what is so amazing about God's grace. we don't deserve it, but He gives it to us because He loves us sooo much.

What really amazes me is that he chooses to romance us.. he WANTS us to love him... and he loves US... the fact that he knows our hearts so well that he knows what will make us happy. For me it's the little things. I remember when i would get really frustrated about not being able to find me shoes in the morning before school or something and my mom would be like well?? did you ask God to help you find them.. so i would.. and i know it sounds silly but like places that i had looked before i went back and what do you know? there they were. Or tonight when i was looking for one particular sentence in No LOgo to use in my paper.. but i had no idea where it was in the book.. so i was like God please help me find it, it's something trivial but it would be so cool if i could find it.. i mean come on one sentence out of 446+ pages .. and guess what less than a minute later and there it was ... Man! God never ceases to amaze me!

the little things really do make a difference. and how he chooses to romance us...like wow. God, the Creator of the Universe, wants to know me! He pursues me constantly no matter how far i try to run - that's definitely awesome. thanks for sharing chica bonita!

What amazes me about God is how he answers prayer. I don't know why I constantly try to handle life myself and think that I have the capability of not screwing it up, but I do. Don't we all do that? What is it about us that makes us want to just control every aspect of our lives instead of entrusting things to the creator of the UNIVERSE and the creator of us. I mean think how well he knows us; he knows exactly how many hairs we have on our head and how many cells we have in our body. And then we think he doesn't know us well enough to do the exact right thing for us. We try to come up with every option to how a situation might be solved, and then God surprises us and comes up with something in the middle that is completely the best! God is so faithful beyond what I ever give him credit for. How silly are we not to give him credit for all he has done for us, especially for how he has forgiven us and how he will forgive me when I do the same stupid thing tomorrow that I did today!?! Just thought I would take you up on your ( ... )

haha yeah. i love sundays and mondays and wednesdays! tonight was soooo much fun!!! thanks for taking up my challenge. God is really so amazing!
