[As a Valentine's Day greeting to everyone on the network, this violin piece is played for everyone. The violinist doesn't bother to introduce himself this time, only music is heard. "I'm glad," he says, giving Danny a short nod. He pauses a moment, letting a thought wander across his consciousness before letting fall the words that were formed from it, "Do you want to try piano tonight?"

Abused pet would be the perfect description of Danny... and he pretty much looked it now. Watarus first reaction looking away from him had Danny shrink into himself a bit, expecting something bad... Living here with Wataru had given him a little confidence back, but it was oh so fragile... A dog! Your just an animal! Your worth NOTHING else! NOTHING! Obey, you mongrel! He still saw Wataru as his Master, and thinking he'd displeased him made Danny scared and worried. Looking down on his hands, he didn't see Watarus smile. "OK."

Wataru placed a hand on the piano keys and tapped out "shave and a haircut, two bits" merrily. "It will be okay," Wataru said. "It will be fun. Maybe. Learning isn't fun and school isn't fun, so I'll ask Kivat how to make learning fun. Then you can read books and music better." He lets out a breath, smiling a little brighter, "We're both not good at things, but people get better at doing things by learning them. It's not bad to learn new things. That's why we're learning piano, right?" Besides, once Danny can learn to read English, he can understand musical scales better, as they all involve the English alphabet, Wataru acknowledged. That's why Wataru only really knew the English alphabet up to the letter G.

Danny kept silent and just listened to Wataru playing on the piano... He wished he could do it to... Maybe Wataru was right? Maybe there was music within him? Then he had a flash off what he'd done... what he was good at... and sadly came to the conclusion that he couldn't have any good music within him... could he? Still not saying anything, he just nodded his head at Wataru, agreeing with him.

With a nod and a sound of affirmation, Wataru rubbed his hands against his knees. "Then you'll learn to read and write and play piano! And then you will play music," he placed his hands on the keys again. "Happy music," he tapped out something fun, "sad music," he tapped out something slower, "dark music," he played a rather jarring chord, "and all music. You'll play your song, the one in your heart."
