No one has come well out of this, but it was just a silly prank. I feel sorry for everyone

Fantastic post, don't think I disagree with a word.

The whole thing has resonated a lot with me this week. I let slip more info about something work related in an unprofessional way and rightly got called out on it. Yes, I feel bad about it. Yes, relationships will need to be rebuilt and some measure of credibility regained. And yes, I will probably dwell on it more than is entirely healthy. But kill myself? No.

It's just so sad. I'm with you- I don't think there's any way this was the only factor, and I hope they find some evidence of that to help these two boys heal (although I'm sure it will still haunt them forever). I think it would also give the hospital, family, and Kate herself some comfort.

Hopefully somehow, good will come out of it, but it is such a sad story.
