Tumblr art. Also, posting meme spots are open.

First things first - there are several open days in the December posting meme, so please feel free to ask me something unusual or interesting or that you're curious about, or whatnot. I mean, you saw how I went on about RDJ for like two pages. This is what happens when I get going. *g* But I think I have enough writing prompts, especially since two ( Read more... )

That’s is a great tag and very fitting. Again.

I won’t be posting there anymore, I figure they didn’t want me at my porniest, they don’t deserve me at my fluffiest 😂

I'm starting to feel a bit paranoid, like I'm some kind of Typhoid Mary type paranoid.

First I bought a lifetime membership in MegaUpload, and poof, it went belly up. Then I put up all my art on Photobucket: ditto, so I moved everything to another image hosting site only to have it go bye bye as well.

At this point, though I hate Tumblr and had deleted my original account years ago, I went back just to have a safe place to store my art for linking to AO3. Now mind you, my art is vanilla as can be so should be okay there, but I still feel I'm somehow existentially guilty for the recent upheaval there.

Sigh. Sorry, fandom.

This is funny as heck, and also sad. I think there are a lot of Typhoid Marys in fandom. We all follow more or less the same trajectory. I thought it was sad/hilarious that one friend got on Twitter literally the day before Tumblrpocalypse and was like, I finally got a Tumblr, how do I filter stuff out? Such excellent timing.

Sounds about right. Fans, chasing fandom around the net since just about forever now and often getting lost along the way.

I would kill--no, not kill, but definitely do something extreme--for image hosting on AO3. I'll undoubtedly be dead before that happens, though. I've at least touched a toe down in eight decades (born at the tail end of the first of them) already, and the 2020's are creeping up on us...
