Yuletide recs plus guessing game

My reading has been sporadic this year, since I was traveling and AFK. But here's some stuff I liked. I still have 57 stories open in tabs, including some of my favorite fandoms, and I am looking forward to reading them, but it won't happen until after reveals. Therefore, recs now.

You know what's so funny? It seems like all the Martian stories are the ones where Watney needs lots of cuddling (and maybe something else). Usually involving Beck. Or at least most of them. :-) I beta read one of them, and when I went into the list last night, I laughed, because yeah, so many of them had "touch-starved" in the tags that was the only response I could have. Makes me happy indeed.

Eventually, I should probably see that movie! *g* I have only the book to go by, and so I was sort of plucking about in the fic, not willing to shove my toes in too deeply, but I think cuddles are right where it's at. And of course, with Beck. :D

Oh my god, BAND OF BROTHERS! I ran to read it, I had no idea there was any out there. I got my son the blue rays for Christmas and we sat there and watched it on his fancy TV.
