Upside, downside
Let's play upside, downside.
Upside: I have made a vid for Club Vivid!
Downside: Club Vivid was three weeks ago. Or a year from now. Take your pick.
Upside: My boss put me in charge of ALL the things while said boss is away.
Downside: I don't want to be in charge of all the things, I'm tired and I want a cookie and an assistant named Darcy. (A Pepper would also be acceptable.)
Upside: the season finale of Hannibal is Saturday and it's going to be INSANE.
Downside: uh, make that the series finale. *cries*
Further downside: self-imposed Tumblr restriction begins tonight at 7PM, since the episode is airing in Canada tonight and I don't want ANY spoilers. *side-eyes Canada*
Upside: I was offered a job that would involve travel to New York City and Washington DC on a regular basis, and it's a perfect match for my analytical skills.
Downside: The salary was not commensurate with the scope of responsibility. So I said no.
Upside: I dreamed I was hiking in the Alps with barkley and Jared Padalecki.
Downside: I am not currently hiking in the Alps with barkley and Jared Padalecki.
Upside: I enjoy Mr. Robot a lot!
Downside: The season finale was (properly) postponed last night due to its apparent similarities to real-life tragedy. Also, I have no idea what is happening on Mr. Robot. At all. It is incomprehensible to me. But I don't let that get in my way.
Upside: one of my staff gave me a life-size Captain America Shield to hang on my office wall. (To say that my office decor is atypical in my workplace is like saying that Donald Trump might not be the best choice for president.)
Downside: The red and blue clashes with my purple and orange Star Wars poster.
Upside: I have discovered a secret (very secret, don't tell anyone) love for Steve/Thor fic where Steve enjoys not being the strongest person in the bed room.
Downside: I have only found two such stories which really please me. (Since I know there are people reading this right now who are wondering what those stories are but will never in a million years comment to ask me, Power by AccursedSpatula - I pause to LOL at the writer's name, because LOL - and With Eyes Open by sinuous_curve.)
