If you could have heard my squealing when I was reading Echo you'd have laughed like a drain. I made so much noise my cats were freaking the fuck out. I mean, you started it out with Jack being caned…and I was pretty much down the rabbit hole after that. Plus there are just so many amazing turns of phrase in there that stick with me--the fat droplets of blood, Jack noticing Thomasina's hair and wrinkles, it's all so gorgeous. I loved that someone said in one of the bookmarks, "David's warrior boyfriend" and that's pretty much what I call it now. AND IT'S MINE!!! ♥ you so, so much.
