Dec 21 - favorite flavors and colors

Hello all! I fell a few days behind on the daily posting meme due to ginormous WORK BEARS, but I will catch up on December 18-20 this weekend. I am especially excited about discussing Spartacus, which was supposed to happen yesterday before the bears ate me. Sigh.

If peppermint is one of your favorite flavors (mine, too), this must be a wonderful time of year for you!

My sisters lie in wait each year for the Christmas season, when Umpqua Dairy releases their peppermint ice cream-- complete with crushed candy canes. Makes me miss living in Oregon!

You have a lot of favorite colors! Mine are mostly in the blue spectrum-- including virtually anything that could be considered "Monet blue." I think your purples are probably easier to work with in decorating. Blue is tricky-- between the red-blue, black-blue, and green-blue choices, it's easy to accidentally clash.

I do love everything peppermint. Also cranberry and pumpkin, so really, fall/winter works for me as a flavor bonanza. *g*

Re decorating, not sure if you've seen my fairly recent locked posts about the revamp of my living room and office (under my house tag), but as you can/will see from those, blue and pink/plum ruled the decorating day, respectively. :) I accented the navy in the living room with teal and violet cushions (not in the pics) and it looks amazing. You are so right about the difficulty of clashing, but it's kind of cool how different colors in related families can sort of complement each other.

I really like apple and cinnamon flavors. And I've been getting into peanut butter lately.

Purple is my favorite color.
