Oh, Henry Cavill, you're so pretty. And you're a good actor, too. You deserved so much better than this script.

I haven't seen it yet but there definitely will be a sequel given how well it opened.

They will have to get along without my $8 next time. It's so sad.

They've already greenlight the sequel and a Justice League movie.

That's the worst part about it - I've been waiting my whole life for a Justice League movie, and now I just can't bear to even think about how they're going to destroy the entire concept. I was already scared because the casting of Wonder Woman is so crucial, and all the men in Hollywood seem scared of her. It's pathetic.

From the preview, I thought it looked pretty boring and decided not to see it. The preview also suggested that Russell Crowe would be awesome, so I'm glad that panned out at least!

He was pretty great. I would rewatch that first 20 minutes again in a heartbeat. I also predict great things for Michael Shannon's career, but...that's about it.

I'm glad Rusty did a good job. I'm not into Superman at all, the entire idea of him bores the crap out of me, but I'm really sorry that peole like you who do enjoy it got a dud movie out of it. I wonder if it's possible to write a self-aware, ironic Superman film? Its very earnestness is part of what turns me off, usually. Could you imagine Joss Whedon tackling it? (That's not a loaded question - I'm asking as a non-fan of the concept. I tend to go with the notion that if you're not into something you don't watch and bag it - what's the point? But I am interested in hearing what fans think).

I hope not. *g* Unless by ironic you mean wryly funny. But it *is* possible to write a self-aware, funny and yet iconic DC heroes film; it's been done with animated JL series and movies. The fact that they can't manage to translate that success to real live human beings is really disappointing.

Well, poo. I admit that everything you say was exactly my impression from the trailer, but I was hoping.

I did not love it. Of course, I am one of like five people in the universe who liked the previous reboot, so maybe I'm not the best judge. *g*

Haha. Well, I did not like the previous one. But it had James Marsden in it, and that goes a long way with me.

(I need more storrrrryyyyy. :D)
