Skyfall (the Wow I Had To Kiss A Lot Of Frogs To Find These edition):

Who Takes, Gives by Kryptaria - Bond/Q, 36,632 words. This is a crossover with Sherlock, which caused me to skip it, initially. But to my pleasant surprise, the Sherlock stuff is mostly in the background, and used to inform character, which makes it tolerable to a non-Sherlock ( Read more... )

Yay! for Merlin recs! I'm still catching up on older stories so it hasn't been that bad for me yet. But I'm sure I'll get there. And between the remix, redux and muses fests I'm hoping there will be plenty of amazing fic to read soon :)

I still haven't seen the latest Bond film--I'm woefully behind on most films these days. I should probably fix this sometime soon.

And I hear you about work. It's definitely eating into all my free time.

That Bond film was spectacular. Best Bond film ever. I'm probably never getting over my glee re that movie. *g*

There are so many amazing stories in Merlin fandom. It took me some time to exhaust all the old stuff, too, but I was regularly recommending older stories last year anyway. I always figure there's someone else like me who hasn't read them!

Hope work eases up for you soon.

Thank you, I hope for you as well :)

And yes, your recs have been wonderful and super-appreciated---found so many great stories that way!

Yay for Merlin recs. I've read the adorable Arthur as a golden retriever one but not the others. I've been pining for Merlin fic recently (even though I have loads to read) so thank so much for these.

My need for Merlin fic has not abated one bit since December, which is tragic because there's not much of it, as you know. *g*

You're not kidding about the frogs. I did a pass through the 00Q the other day and didn't click on any of them (I am so wary of Sherlock, but that one tempted me, so good to know that I should go back and give it a shot), and meant to send off a note to you that would basically boil down to "People writing 00Q know you're allowed to go over 1,000 words, right?"

UGH YES. And not only the tiny word counts, but the now-ubiquitous 1/? UGH UGH. JUST WRITE A COMPLETE STORY AND THEN POST IT.

It is my pleasure! :D I see you posted a new story, too. I need to carve out some time to read it.
